Bike Shops - Tread Shed is the only shop on-mountain and has everything you need to rent, buy, or fix your way to the bike park
Best breakfast place - if by breakfast you mean the first ride of the day, then you should check out MMT.
Best apres beer-and-nachos spot - forget the nachos, but if you're talking beer, the only beer out here is Lucky Lager and it's served icy cold in Fat Teddy's Bar and Grill
Best camping option - the Hawk Parking Lot....yes, it's a parking lot but it's free and bonus, there's a bathroom! it's also a two second walk to the Hawk Chair
Best bike-friendly hotel option - on-mountain, your best bet is Slopeside Accomodations...it's slopeside.
Best pre-ride coffee spot - The mountain's General Store offers the best fresh brewed mocha-frappa-chai-latte drink you've ever had.
Best place to drink fresh locally-brewed beer - Fat Teddy's Grill slings out good ol' Pipers Pale Ale and Spy Hopper from Vancouver Island Brewery
Best spot to catch live music - The Big Day Up is happening on July 17 and features Australian band The Cat Empire. Otherwise, truck down to Cumberland and hit a local pub
Best spot to go for a swim and lay on the beach - drive 2.5 hours west young man and hit the pristine sands of Tofino's Long Beach and Cox Bay.
Best places to get your burger fix - without a doubt, drive to Cumberland and hit the Waverley Hotel. Wednesday night is legendary burger night. don't think about it, just do it.
Best place to get a bite to eat and celebrate the day - stop eating and go out and ride!
Well-known riders that call Mount Washington home - you may not have heard of this guy yet, but his name is Darren Berrecloth- he's real good.
